TIBET
With its large
opened plains, its majestic mountains, its crystalline
atmosphere and its inhabitants so impregnated of Buddhism, Tibet
remains one of the most attractive grounds of the sphere.
Bordered by more the high mountains of the world on three sides,
in the South
by the powerful Himalayas chain,
in the West by the high summits of Karakoram and in North by the
Kunlun mounts
and Tangla, the country is
inclined little by little towards the East with
the vast spaces strewn with less
low chains
and of deep throats.
Almost all the travellers who
ventured in Tibet since the XVII čme century noticed
spontaneous heat and the good mood of these vigorous and
courageous people. Their merry and pleasant naturalness
nourishes deep spiritual values resulting not only from Buddhism
spread in Tibet as of the VIII éme century but also
from the old Bön traditions
