AROUND MANASLU (16 DAYS)
The paths which circumvent the Manaslu
massif make us progress within
a very wild framework and
authenticates, this being due to the fact that this area was open
only recently to the walkers.
Fauna, the flora and the geography of
the ground are rather similar to those of the turn of Annapurna but
they are especially the inhabitants, their traditions and the
architecture of the villages which make the originality and the
specificity of these valleys. The villagers met after Nyak are
indeed primarily Tibetans (naturalized Nepalese) including one great
part fled the Chinese invasion of Tibet 40 years ago. They do not
speak
so to speak Nepalese and preserved all the traditions Tibetans.
