The Jannu
These treks, without technical difficulty is however of a great geographical and cultural diversity. At the beginning, they are mainly villages Raï and Limbu which we meet. Ignored, these ethnos groups are traditionally very close to Gurung of the center of Nepal, and are also with dominant Buddhist. We pass from many suspended bridges, have sights on Makalu (8463m) and penetrate with the wire of Chörtens and Gompas (monasteries) in world Tibetan (taken refuge): pines of the Himalayas, yaks… We reach the desert one with sights on the glacier of Rantang and tops as ignored as impressive: Salfury, Rambuck, Sobithag and Khabur (all between 6 and 7000m). We pass then 3 collars of 4700m, 4800m, 4900m and go down again of with dimensions of Yalung with one strolls with the glacier. Then we cross forests of rhododendrons, magniolias and bamboos; we pass also caravans of goats (rice, flour).
