MANASLU AERA
Located at the north of Gorkha and extending length border Tibetan, treks in the National park Manaslu (8153m) are among most attractive. The local population of stock Tibetan perpetuates her traditions, in these furrowed moved back areas of walls with prayer and small monasteries. The natural beauty and the ethnic diversity of Manaslu are comparable with those of Annapurna but the circuit is attended less because it is protected and is not authorized that since 1991. Its frequentation is subjected to a specific regulation.

MANASLU WITH GANESH HIMAL
Shorter than the turn of Manaslu, this trek is with the range of all good walkers. With a maximum altitude of 4000m, it makes it possible to appreciate the pastoral life of Gurungs villages, to cross large forests of oaks and of rhododendrons and to have a panoramic sight on the Himalayan chain.
AROUND MANASLU
The paths which circumvent the
solid mass of Manaslu make us progress within a very wild
framework and authenticates, this being due to the fact that
this area was open only recently to the walkers.
Fauna, the flora and the
geography of the ground are rather similar to those of the turn
of Annapurna but they are especially the inhabitants, their
traditions and the architecture of the villages which make the
originality and the specificity of these valleys.

LAPRAK, GURUNG VILLAGE
At 3 days of walk in the north of Gorkha, historical city, it is by little attended paths that we propose to you to go to discover the village Gurung de Laprak (2200 m). Left another time, this large village of more than 500 houses and 2400 inhabitants will plunge you in a Buddhist culture and strong ancestral traditions. We are with a few miles of the imposing solid mass of Manaslu (8153m) and the tops which compose: Ngadi Chile (7800m), the Buddha Himal (6843m) and Peak 29 (7887m) are the backdrop of a way which curves between terraces, rhododendrons and Gurung villages. The route discovered, with its stages shorter and its 2 nights spent with Laprak, make of it a circuit more ethnological and accessible to all (max. altitude 2700m). Key periods: a true dive in another world, another time, far from the paths beaten.
