ANNAPURNA AREA
Located at the north of Pokhara and extending length border Tibetan, the National park of the area with Annapurna 2600 km² cover. The treks around Annapurna are, without question, among most beautiful in the world, not only by splendour of the mountains but also for the richness and the diversity of the cultures of the various ethnos groups (Bhotiya, Tamang, Magar, Gurung, Thakali…). The area is easily accessible by the road Katmandu Pokhara (8 hours of way) and by the airports of Pokhara and Jomsom.
ANNAPURNA
BASE CAMP
Shorter than the large turn of Annapurna, this trek is with the range of all. With a maximum altitude of 4000m, it makes it possible to appreciate the pastoral life of villages Gurungs and Magars, to cross large forests of oaks and of rhododendrons and to have a panoramic sight on more than 25 tops of 6,7 and 8000m. Not organ of this trek, impressing it glacial circus of Annapurna, consisted of the glaciers of Annapurna I and III, of Southern Annapurna, of Hiunchuli and famous Machapuchhare, Cervin of the Himalayas.
AROUND ANNAPURNA
Since its opening the abroads in 1977, the turn of Annapurna in three weeks became the most famous trek of Nepal. It with the characteristic to cross areas inhabited by a great diversity of ethnos groups, to offer spectacular landscapes and to give access to the high plateaus Tibetans. All in all, no day resembles another and makes it possible to apprehend in its globality the whole country. Key periods: the passage of the collar of Thorong It (5416 m), descent along Kali-Gandaki in the deepest throats of the sphere and sight of three tops of more than 8000m (Manaslu, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri).

One of the shortest treks that one can make in Nepal, but offering an extraordinary panorama on the chain of Annapurna and Daulaghiri and allowing to appreciate beautiful forests of oaks and rhododendrons.
