WHITE MAGIC KANGCHENJUNGA

This route is articulated around a difficult trek which takes you along until Goechala to 5000m of altitude, contrary to the south-eastern face of the MT. Khangchenjunga (8345m), the third top of the world but also one of the most majestic peaks. The trek starts in a dense forest subtropical and passes through vast grazing grounds, where feed Yaks to reach the alpine stage finally, where the high shrubs of Rhododendron of a few centimetres constitute the only vegetation. The day, the temperature can rise with 20 maximum degrees during the trek whereas the minimal temperature borders the zero.
To rest, we finish in Darjeeling- “the Queen of the Himalayas”, turbulent tourist city, re-elected for its plantations of the, its Himalayan institute of alpinism, its sunrise on the Himalayas since the hill of the Tiger, its reminiscences of the British Empire.
